{"id":149,"date":"2016-05-12T10:36:32","date_gmt":"2016-05-12T10:36:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/raratheme.com\/preview\/benevolent\/?p=149"},"modified":"2022-03-19T22:04:40","modified_gmt":"2022-03-19T22:04:40","slug":"women-empowerment-and-employment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/50001.org.uk\/wp\/?p=149","title":{"rendered":"A Lifechanging Future&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wb-stl-custom1\"><em><strong>\u201cRotary Service\u201d&nbsp;<\/strong><\/em>was successfully returned to Lowestoft in 2015 for&nbsp;refurbishment by the trusts team of dedicated volunteers, in order&nbsp;to provide a new life as a safe, reliable youth training vessel.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wb-stl-custom1\">The refurbishment including&nbsp;re-powering with more modern and economical engines (Scania DSI-11s)&nbsp;and&nbsp;redesigning the vessels interior for her new role, will take several years and will be funded by charitable donations, sponsorship and\/or&nbsp;Grant funding.<\/p>\n<p>The Trust are working alongside industry partners to utilise the advances in technology the past 43 years of engineering development have brought.
